Pik was built to respect your privacy, we do not share your personal details with publishers or anyone else without your explicit permission. We also don't store you card details, which are held securely by Stripe who are industry leaders in secure, trustworthy payments.
Pik publishers and privacy
Publishers can request permission to send you email and receive extra details such as your name when you make a purchase. These are optional, purchases can be completed without sharing any data and you will have an opportunity to choose whether to share the requested data before making the purchase.
When you buy something or create a relationship with a publisher (e.g. to login), we create a new ID specific to you and that publisher, which we share with the publisher so that they can store information about what you've bought from them and identify you on return visits. This ID does not let them access any personal data (unless you chose to share it explicitly, see above) and can't be used to track you across sites.
Third parties we use to bring you Pik
We use Google Analytics to help us understand how people are using Pik and develop new features, but we do not share any unique user identifier or personal data with Google, only anonymous details about the actions you take, and only whilst you are using Pik. Google do not have access to your account data.
We also use ZenDesk for support and documentation, they may use their own analytics and if you email us for help or open a support ticket then they'll also receive those communications and your contact details in order for us to process your request. ZenDesk do not have access to your account data.
